AM3R! No, I didn't get an M3! My name is Amer and I drive a 3 series, so I guess it works out great.
How do you guys like the 17's on that E90? Apex arc 8's 17x9 square set up. Stock m-sport suspension.

Real meaty those tires. Is that a 2009?

RIP Newjalop. Those wheels are great - love the thick tires.

17s!? don't see that very often. is that a 328? or 35?

Yup! 2009 M-sport model. Love the meaty set up, great look while being extremely strong, cheap, and lightweight. Apex arc 8's are GREAT wheels.

I agree! I originally wanted to get some 18's with some nice sticky staggered rubber, but this makes me want to go for 17's on a nice meaty squared set up instead!

See i love that. Most BMW's you see have 19's and above but with 17's you have bigger tires, better handling and a more comfortable ride. Good job man. I love the car

Probably should have specified, not my car!
I will say, 19's probably will look the best, but 17's are the best If you care about perfomance. Go with a nice tire size and you'll have a real stunning set up with a mild drop. I plan on ordering some 17x9 Arc 8's in hypersilver this week. I have some eibach springs and bilstein shocks waiting to be installed.

But I don't like change :

335i. I think the owner has a few minor mods (flashed ecu, DCI, downpipes, exhaust) and is putting down a healthy amount of power down.

Man, those small wheels look like they belong. That's a nicely-sorted car you've got there - I personally believe the E90 is a future classic.

Change is good!! Sometimes...

yeah the E90, especially the M3, will be in demand a few years from now. Very nice cars! I only drive a "measly" 328i and it's still a fantastic car. It's amazing how capable the E9x chassis is.

WHATS'S WITH ALL THE NAME CHANGES. I ain't never giving up my identity.
But that's a gorgeous M3.

I was motivated by all the name changes. It's actually an M-sport 335i!

Haha the name changes are throwing me off!! I can't remember who is who but I'll try my best. I DON'T LIKE CHANGE.

Dat meat!

That is almost certainly not the stock suspension, at least without lowering perches in the front. The 3 series never has that forward rake stock. Even my M has more front wheel gap than that, as I illustrated on the E9X photo dump thread. Happy to re-post it here though. Oh, and it's not just the ARC-8s because, well...
And those are 18x10 square, like a boss =)

I promise, it is! It's a very meaty set up that helps reduce gap. It's a non xDrive car on the sports suspension. He's running a 255/40 all around.

nice! i'm rocking e92 335 with tcu flash, intercooler, and remus race. probably putting down a bit less power than that one though

Sweet! Got any pictures? I really want to pick up an E92 M-sport 335i. I just can't find one that's RWD and 6MT!! Don't get me wrong, I loooovee my 328i but I need 3 pedals to keep myself happy.
![]() 06/10/2014 at 10:53 |

yeah here's some, as I am reluctantly selling it to purchase more toys...
I know 3 pedals are highly desired but also hard to find. luckily for me the choice is already made, I am in a wheelchair and auto is my only option. But I will say the Alpina Transmission flash has been awesome and makes a HUGE difference in the way the car drives.

I remember we talked E90's a while back! Car looked familiar. GLWS! Atlanta isn't too far off, maybe if I can't find any 6MT's and I decide to go for an auto we can talk.
